Lecturer Wants Justice Served Over Police Brutality Case

Francis Essy was a lecturer at the University of Papua New Guinea when he was also badly beaten up by police. He was left fighting for his life and made headlines calling for justice. Francis explained that he had pursued the case in 2014 and was told that the officers were arrested and charged. But only recently he had found out that his case was not pursued and the police officer who gruesomely attacked him and his nephews were still in the force. This year He pursued the case with Internal Affair Unit at Badili.
