CCIC Teams urged to obey by-laws of competition

Clubs that are confirmed to participate inthe popular Coca Cola Ipatas Cup are urged to obeythe by- laws governingthe competition.

Chairman ofthe Judiciary panel, Beain JemeJeme saysthere must be cooperation and understanding from every team on this matter for the future of players andthe competition.

The Coca Cola Ipatas Cup competition isthe only well-organized off-season sport in Papua New Guineathat has produced untapped hidden talents who have gone to make names for them inthe sport of rugby league.

The annual competition is set to kick start on February 8.

Judiciary Chairman Beain JemeJeme says, he ‘d  like to see that allthe clubs taking heed and followingthe by-laws of  says during and atthe running ofthe competition.

He said any decision that will be handed down is going to be final and that final decision must be respect and accepted for the smooth running ofthe competition.

He said The Coca Cola Ipatas Cup has attracted scouts from ther franchise teams participating inthe Digicel Cup rugby league competition so allthe teams must fieldtheir best youths and upcoming hidden talents sothey come out and exposetheir skills and at least one or two can be scouted into one ofthe franchise teams participating inthe Digicel Cup competition.
