CLC Church Founders in PNG to celebrate 30th Anniversary

By Staycey Yalo, EMTV News, Port Moresby

Founders of Christian Life Center arrived in Port Moresby for the 30th Anniversary celebrations for its Life Outreach Ministry in PNG yesterday.

Reverend John and Coby Pasterkamp from the Netherlands first started their ministerial journey in Daru, Western Province. It was in 1968 where they said they were inspired to work in the country.

“I have never intended to start a church or a ministry but I wanted to bring people to see God… I’m 73years old now but the peak of my years would be in Papua New Guinea. It always feels like home when we come to PNG, I know I belong here, I was just born with a white skin,” said Rev. John.

Since then, the ministry has grown roots throughout the four regions with its CLC churches established in all provinces.

The 30th Anniversary celebrations will commence next week Wednesday with a conference and a combine fellowship with all other CLC Life Outreach Ministries International representatives from Australia, the Philippines, India and Solomon Islands.
