Disciplinary Forces Set for Pacific Games Security Operations

Papua New Guinea’s disciplinary forces are ready for the 2015 Pacific Games to come to our shores by the end of next week.

On Tuesday, Prime Minster Peter O’Neill witnessed the commissioning of the Pacific Games security operations that will be protecting the image of our country.

The three members of the security forces are the Police, Defence Force and the Correctional Services who were at the commissioning of the Pacific Games Operations launch, code named Safe Games.

Prime Minister O’Neill said that it is our national duty to make sure that this games will be the best delivered. And will be remembered in years to come.

The image and pride of PNG is incredibly important, and the members of the disciplinary forces will be at the forefront to protect our national image and pride. We all must show our support and work together to deliver the best games possible.

The Australian Federal Police are also providing support to the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary in their efforts for the Pacific Games.
