East Sepik Update

Grand Cheif Sir Michael Somare has maintained a strong lead in the counting for the East Sepik Provincial seat.  After count one hundred and seventy one, Sir Micheal has given a twenty six thousand votes lead ahead of Pangu Pati candidate Allan Bird. Trailing 3rd is Greg Maisen.

For Ambunti Dreikikir, after count 43, sitting MP Tony Aimo leads, followed by Johnson Wapunai in 2nd place and then Ezekiel Anisi in 3rd spot.

 

For Angoram, after count 28, sitting MP Arthur Somare is in the lead. In 2nd place is Ludwig Schulze and running in 3rd is Lazarus Kenni.

 

For Maprik, after count 33, John Simon is 800 votes of sitting MP Gabriel Kapris who is in 2nd place. Coming 3rd is Vincent Yangwari.

 

For Wewak Open, after count 54, Jim Simanatab is leading, Earnesto Bautisita is in 2nd place and Joseph Gabut is in 3rd place.

 

For Wosera Gaui, after count 40, Joseph Yopyyopy is in first place, sitting MP Ronald Asik in 2nd place and Francis Essacu in 3rd place.

 

For Yangoru Saussia, after count 17, former NDB boss Richard Maru is in 1st place with sitting MP Peter Waranaka Wararu trailing in 2nd spot, with Paul Harricken in 3rd spot.
