Hunters Play Host to Easts Tigers This Weekend

The SP PNG Hunters play host to the East Tigers this weekend at the National Football Stadium.

Coming off a devastating loss to the Redcliffe Dolphins in their Round 19 clash, a change in atmosphere when they play in front of a home crowd might just be what they need to bounce back.

Coach Michael Marum says the loss was due to minor errors, which he believes they have ironed out and worked hard to avoid at training this week.

Marum has picked a similar side to last week, and is adamant that the team will be able to perform to his expectation.

There have been changes to the line-up, with Wartovo Puara named at halfback and Warren Glare in the starting line-up.

Marum is confident his players will be able to adjust, as long as they stick to their game plan.

The Hunters still miss a number of their players with Watson Boas and Noel Zeming still carrying injuries and will be sidelined this weekend.
