Hunters Will Play Northern Pride This Saturday

Two players from the SP PNG Hunters have been released to join their Intercity Cup team.

Coach Michael Marum released Ishmael Balkawa and Noel Joel because of player misconduct.

Michael Marum has warned his players on misconduct and says the two players were also finding their form to make it into the team.

Moving on to this weekend’s match, Hunters vice-captain Wellington Albert was cited for a dangerous contact which sees him sit out this weekend’s clash.

Muka Peter Kula who debuted for the Hunters last weekend stands in for Albert in the starting line-up.

Captain Ase Boas makes a come back to the side, and will help in the teams attack. David Loko has been omitted from the team after falling ill.

Young Hela Wigman Captain, William Mone has been named on the extended bench.

Fullback Stargroth Amean will play his 51st Intrust Super Cup match this weekend. Amean will become one of the few players that have reached this milestone.

The Hunters will play Northern Pride at Barlow Park on Saturday. Northern Pride has a good record against the Hunters at home.

The Hunters have never beaten Pride at Barlow Park since their inception 3 years ago.
