The Lae Biscuit Company has jumped on board to support the Netball and Hockey Associations in Lae this year, with a cash contribution of K25, 000 for each association.
The Company’ Chairman Ian Chow, hopes this sponsorship can be used well to develop these sporting codes in the Province. He said being a Morobean based company, they are proud to support sporting codes in the Province.
Lae Netball Association’s President Shirley Lung said with the Netball championships coming up, this sponsorship will go a long way to help this cause, and other plans the association has for this year.
The company has always supported the hockey association in the city. With this big contribution, Vice President of the Hockey Association Regina Parry says, they’ll be promoting the sport in schools including villages in Morobe.
The Lae Biscuit Company also extends it support to other sports; sponsoring the Digicel Cup Champions, the Lae Snax Tigers and the National Soccer
Leagues 2018 Minor Premiers, the Toti City Football Club.
They are now supporting a total of four sporting codes in the Province.
