Lupari: Government cautious on costs for 2017 National Elections

The Chief Secretary, Isaac Lupari, says the National Government is targeting the 2017 National Elections to make it a less expensive one.

Mr. Lupari says the downturn in the country’s economy in recent months has pushed the government to be cautious with its election expenditures.

The Chief Secretary made the announcement when he officiated at the opening of a week-long election workshop in Kokopo yesterday.
