Luship staff’s back to work with new Management

The Captain and crew members of Lutheran Shipping vessels – Gejamsao and Mamose – have revealed how they’ve been putting thousands of lives at risk by running ships that are in breach of safety regulations.

That situation prompted a 3 week strike that resulted in the suspension of the CEO.

A new management team was put in place yesterday and the workers have returned to their jobs.  But it may take up to a year to resolve the issues.
