Manus Couple Robbed on Ship

The owner of a business house in Manus and his wife were assaulted and goods valuing over K4 779 stolen.

The Manager of the Papindo Trading Store in Lorengau, and his wife were robbed on Sunday 11th of February.

Manus police said a group of men travelled by boat to the MV Manus vessel which was anchored near Rara Island and assaulted the couple.

While police know the identities of the suspects involved, they are appealing to people in Manus to help them make arrests.
