Fueling the future with books

Fuel and energy supplier, Puma Energy, is happy to be assisting Buk Bilong Pikinini, fueling futures for PNG.

Puma Energy Country Director, Jim Collins, said there is no better future to look at than the children of the country and guiding them in their education.

Buk Bilong Pikinini, Executive Officer, Henry Ume, said through the partnership with Puma, the NGO is able to distribute over 500,000 books, not just for NCD, but also throughout the country.

The partnership between Puma Energy and Buk Bilong Pikinini dates back to 2014. The support of fuel products is a sponsorship worth over K100,000 to date.

Mr Collins said Puma Energy is committed to its corporate social responsibilities.

Mr Ume said looking ahead, Buk Bilong Pikinini will work with Puma Energy in its footprint areas in Roku and Kourerika to establish proper facilitated libraries, train and provide resources for the teachers.
