NRL Telstra Premiership Round 14

The round 14 of the Telstra Premiership saw no shuffle to the points ladder. Though big plays came from the Warriors in their 34-12 win against the Titans while the Cowboys with their 32 – 6 victory over the Eels.

For the Newcastle Knights, their losing streak continued this week in the match against the Manly Sea Eagles. They lost with 14 points to Manly’s 18.

With one try being converted and a penalty goal secured in the first half, the Knights were leading by 2 points at half time.

The second half saw a lot of wasted set plays that cost them the game 40 minutes later.

Manly on the other hand completed sets and in the 50th minute, they were leading by 4 points to Knight’s 8.

The Newcastle outfit replied with touch downs in the Manly try line, and brought their score to 14, but Manly scored again leaving them trailing.

The full time score saw an 18-14 scoreline in favour of Manly.

In other matches, Broncos once again proved to be the superior side in their 24 – 18 win over the Rabbitohs.

While the Panthers denied Raiders a step up on the ladder, with their 24-20 victory.

The Tigers will take on the Roosters tonight, followed by the Bulldogs facing the Dragons tomorrow.
