Ten lucky names were drawn for the Ox & PalmIndependence Anniversary Promotional Draw.
Each lucky winner was awarded K5000 as part ofthe upcomingIndependence Daycelebrations.
The draw took place at Hugo Canning’s Hohola Distribution Centre inthe Nation’s Capital. Police presence also ensured transparency.
The promotion ran since August 12, and required customers to collect 5 tin ends, or purchase 5 Ox & Palm 340 grams.
They were required to writetheir names and addresses and send inthe tin ends as entries. Hugo Canning Company Sales Analyst and Promotion Coordinator, Janelle Manihia, saidthere were over 100 entries that were collected throughoutthe country.
Hugo Canning Company has been producing Ox & Palm in PNG’since 1986, andthe Pacific region is a growing market for the company.
It plans to launch similar competitions soon.
