PNG AIR Welcomes 7th New ATR Aircraft ATF

Airline operator, PNG Air, has cemented its commitment, welcoming another new ATR aircraft into its fleet.

This is the seventh aircraft and Chief Commercial Officer, Paul Abbot, says the airline is committed to bringing world-class aviation services to Papua New Guinea.

Alpha Tango Foxtrot is the seventh new ATR 72-600 aircraft which arrived last night in the country.

Mr Abbot says the new aircraft cements PNG Air’s position, operating the youngest fleet in the country.

The airline has invested in infrastructure and training in its two years of operation acquiring 500,000 additional seats in the domestic market, also introducing four sectors as their operating routes.

And the airline is committed to providing effective and efficient air services to the people of Papua New Guinea.

The new aircraft will assist in providing additional flights until it commences service on the new schedule on December 4, this peak period.
