PNGFAPNG Just Play Program

Students at June Valley Primary School were treated to a feast of football throughthe Just Play Program (JPP).

The Just Play Program is part ofthe Oceania Football Confederation’s social responsibility to develop young football players.

 

Students at June Valley Primary School inthe Nation’s Capital were overwhelmed to havethe Just Play program team attheir school.

 

Students as young as 9 to 12 years of age were eager to learn football.  Although many ofthe little footballers may have football heroes whichthey look up to astheir personal role models, last Friday however, wastheir chance to showcasetheir own talent.

 

Students were placed into two groups and enjoyed every bit of it. Forty students’were divided into four teams of ten players going through through skill practice with basic passing, dribbling and scoring.

 

Just Play program is designed for children aged 6 to 12 and promotes physical activity while encouraging community involvement to practice healthy living, gender equality and disability inclusion.
