PSSA Round 6

The B league Women’s Soccer matches in the Public Servants competition had mid-table rivals Matrix and Simla draw their match nil all. Simla were placed under heavy pressure throughout the match and had rare forays into their opponents half.

In the Women’s A league however Valley Strikers took on Buria FC, with the Strikers having a good turn of possession, converting it into good attacking chances and being rewarded with a goal after a good through ball, resulted in their forward striker having a one-on-one against the goal keeper, and scoring to the left of the outstretched keeper’s hands.

The goal inspiring them to a one nil win.

In other women’s results, FC Wantoks beat close challengers City United one nil, while Bagita Pascols, Namo Souths and Masters FC also had wins.

The competition has two more rounds with the finals expected to commence by the middle of September.
