Tate pays a visit to National Football Stadium

Brent Tate arrived in Papua New Guinea yesterday to escort the Trukai Management in the inaugural Air Niugini flight.

They will be leaving at 9:30 am tomorrow from Port Moresby to Townsville.

Tate visited the National Football Stadium for a tour of the facilities and spoke to the Hunters. They also spent time with children.

He says the inaugural flight to Townsville is a big bonus for both the people of Townsville and Port Moresby.

He says Rugby League has changed tremendously in Papua New Guinea, and with the inclusion of the SP PNG Hunters in the ISC Competition, this will help the growth of the sport in the Country.
