TNT National Swimming Championships

After a three-day long weekend, The TNT short course National Swimming Championships saw its last part of the competition.

It started off with swimming in the morning then followed by presentation of medals in the afternoon.

PNG's Olympic Swimmer, Ryan Pini, also took part in the three day National Titles.

The TNT Nationals titles saw swimmers from the Boroko Amateur Swimming Club today competed in their last round of the competition. It was followed by presentations of medals.

For some of the swimmers, well it definitely paid off for them as they walked up on the podium to be recognized as medal winners.

Presentation divisions included juniors, intermediates and 17 to 30 years and above for the open division. Medal presentations where given for each stroke ranging from Gold, Silver and Bronze for each winning stroke in 1st, 2nd and 3rd placing’s for both male and female.

Also present in at the presentation, was PNGs swimming sensation Ryan Pini who also managed to grab a few medals with Gold in the 50 men’s butterfly.

Miss Wells was quite pleased with the outcome of the competition and thanked the TNT Association for helping and providing with the setup of the National Swimming Championships.
