By Fabian Hakalits – EMTV News, Port Moresby

The Teaching Service Commission (TSC) is impressed with the quality of graduates produced by the Don Bosco Technological Institute.

Chairman, Baran Sori, says that graduates admitted to the teaching service, influence young people to make a difference in the communities.

The TSC has guaranteed more graduates will be recruited from the Don Bosco Technological Institute.

Don Bosco; a Catholic run educational institution, amalgamated with Divine Word University with the Bachelor in News program, has nurtured its students with values and professional ethics.

“And we have seen that this institution is unique in the country, and not only that but offering trade courses that produces qualified graduates,” Sori said.

With these values, Don Bosco’s teachers are some of the best, and influence young people in their teaching to prosper in life for their benefit, the society and nation.

“The more we take from institutions like this, because they go out and teach and they influence the young people to make a living for themselves, so we can progress the country forward,” Sori added.

The Chairman says the TSC will approve their admission into the teaching service.

“We want to see more graduates out from institutions like this and people with trade skills, have also god to teach.

“TSC is impressed with the institution, and looking forward for more graduates, and guarantee more teaching positions,” he said.

Sori also called on other education institutions to train their students using a holistic approach.
