Two Southern RegionTeams qualifies for BAC decider

NCD Public Servants Soccer Association went down to Port Moresby SOE women after a great start.

It was indeed a tough showdown of the three days Southern Region Besta FC Cup when both women’s team put up a challenging match.

PSSA in their yellow jerseys got the whole field covered, blocking the POM SOE ladies scoring the first goal.

One goal was not enough for the ladies making their way through the blue opponents, targeting the goal mouth but PSSA goal keeper was widely awake blocking the ball off.

With much effort, Port Moresby SOE ladies came hard on the PSSA responded with a goal bringing the score to 1 whole.

Unfortunately Port Moresby SOE ladies proved too strong scoring another goal with the full time score as 2 goals to 1.

POM SOE ladies and NCD PSSA men are both qualified to represent Southern Region in the decider match of the Besta Football Association Cup (BFAC) to be held next Friday.

The Finals will be played on Sunday the 11th of this month.
