United Church Harvest

A United Church in Port Moresby has urged Christians aroundthe country to honour God by sharingtheir blessings.

 

This is from Dealcon Api Kali, Chairman ofthe Waigani United Church.

The United Church in Waigani heldtheir annual Harvest Daycelebration to honour that commitment with songs and dance to celebratetheir annual Harvest Daycelebrations.

 

“The Church has committed this day to honour an obligation that God has blessed us with, in terms of bringing our first food harvest for his Glory,” said Church Dealcon, Api Kila.

Organized into language groups, congregation members displayedtheir colours and provided food for the harvest to be distributed bythe church.

 

Dealcon Kila said it was something that as Christians should do to honour God.

 

“Foods brought will be distributed amongst serving ministers in NCD, to charity organizations and government institutions like Port Moresby General Hospital and Bemana Prison,” said Api Kila.
 

The annual harvest celebration was introduced more than ten years ago. It has become a much anticipated event for the church.
