For the first time ever the people of Vanuatu will be able to enjoy ‘Colour Fest’. This event is hosted by the Le Life Resort and is inspired by Holi – the Festival of Colours.

Holi, is a Hindu spring festival celebrated in India and commemorates the victory of good over evil, and now the people of Vanuatu get to celebrate in similar fashion.

The event is a music dance festival showcasing many local music makers with all the colour of the Hindu festival coming together to celebrate the spirit, diversity and happiness of Vanuatu.

Festival goers will be ‘dressed in white, will come together to share in music, dance, food, friends and culture with a uniformed ‘colour-splash’ which will take place every hour.’

According to the event organisers ‘after a minimum of 3 ‘colour-splashes’ the audience will be completely covered by the coloured powder, depicting a true ‘rainbow nation’ feel’.

In essence the uniformed colour splash will eliminate colour/race and those in attendance will come together as one.
