Kalabond to host PM’s XIII

The Prime Minister‘s XIII challenge is set for September but this time Kalaond Stadium,the graveyard of Agmark Rabaul Gurias isthe venue.

Kumuls train on squad was on fitness training for the past weeks and in good spirits after a successful camp in Goroka.

This will bethe match forthPNG’side to gain a permanent spot onthe Kumuls Team totheWorld Cup.

Two hundred and forty  thousand kina was presented yesterday by Minister for Sport and Pacific Games Justin Tkatchenko to upgradethe oval preparing for the match.

The money will be used to extendthe ground capacity to cater for more than 5000 fans and supporters.

Kalaond stadium was chosen prior to an in place school boys rugby league program right up tothe Digicel Cup Agmark Gurias franchise.

Minister Tkatchenko was pleased withthe work carrlied out atthese two sit’s and promised same work to be rolled out with ther selected venues.
