Students Certificates Delayed

The Measurement Services Beanch ofthe Education Department says grades 10 and 12 school certificates will be dispatched this week or next week.

Grade 10 certificates have been printed and are ready for distribution to schools nationwide. Only grade 12 certificates are halfway through printing and will also be ready this week.

The initial delay been blamed on materials and manpower.

Despite this, many students’and parents saythey have been giventhe run around bytheir school administrations and MSBe

One studentowho missed out on selections, wanted to get her results quickly to decide on her next step.

Priscilla Kuk was checking on her grade 12 school certificate here atthe MSBeoffice in Port Moresby but left disappointed.

Among students’checking school certificates, were those picking up school result statements.

One grade 12 school leaver from Badihagwa Secondary School missed out on selections. He claims his English marks were not entered bythe marking panel.

Badihagwa caretaker administration officer Mrs Dorea Loi confirmed this. She said out ofthe one hundred and sixty students’ marks for thirty three students’rsquo; were entered.
