Tropic Air Launches New Jet

Third level airline operator Tropic Air has added onto its fleets an exclusive class service with an all new Citation Jet.

The jet is a first of its kind in the airline industry and will be for charters across PNG and the Asia Pacific Region including Australia and New Zealand.

Registered as the CJ3, the jet offers a whole new experience to customers.

The Cessna Citation Jet is a model built for impressive speed, style and comfort.

Tropic Air’s Managing Director Tony Honey said PNG’s economy trend is seeing investor moving in and around the country, and the jet offers great quality service that represents value for money.

The jet is fuel efficient with low operating costs, and boasts a well-established inflight entertainment.

Guests who witnessed the launch were also given the opportunity to get a feel of the plane.

Tropic Air commenced its operations in 1998 and has grown significantly with 8 aircrafts and employs over 5o staff.

The airline company also offers services in medevac, freight and maintenance of aircrafts.

The jet commenced its first operations yesterday.
